We convinced the birthday boy to forgo a party and celebrate with a trip to hot sunny Phoenix.

These are the promises we made.

The ice cream was a-ma-zing, and I am not typically an ice cream kind of girl unless it's a summer soft serve swirl with rainbow sprinkles.

We brought a bouquet of balloons home with us, and photographed them everywhere we went.

Have you seen these things, the "pouch couch"? 

We had not either, until Nana and Grampa sent us a pair. 

Mr. Bejos and I nearly bust gut laughing while trying to inflate these green tubes. 

But fun o' fun. It's nearly as good as a trampoline.

Haircut and donuts.
Can't have one without the other.

The big news is that the youngest Bejos boy decided, in his fourth year of life, to sit and receive his haircut like a big boy.
No tears.
All smiles.

Back to School night

Spring Camping

The tent came out a whole lot earlier this year than others.
It was a warm, nearly hot, spring day.

The fishing was not lucrative but the boys were exhausted at day's end.
