If you had told me even 3 short years ago that this trio of childhood friends would be married and fathers I would have had a hard time not laughing out loud.
But here they are and fantastic husbands and fathers they have each become.

As most of you know the bejos clan is not a Facebook family, although I have been known to log in with mama bejos' password, and cruise around to see pics of weddings, babies and other special occasions that happen in our very large extended family. Apparently today I missed a post by my  Great Aunt Sid, but I did receive both an email and a screenshot text cuing me in on her advice.

Well Aunt Sid, I could not agree more.

Here are a couple of pics from last weekend (and yes I know we are knocking on the door of this weekend) when some very good friends were in town attending the Pickin' In the Pines bluegrass festival. Fun, fun, fun.

Earlier this summer, on a day devoted to yard work during bejos boy's nap, mr. bejos and I went our separate ways to tackle projects. I stumbled upon him weeding my herb garden telling me how good gardening was "for the chi". Of course his good chi was ripping out my baby zinnias, all except for one lone survivor.

Labor Day Weekend

Thank goodness for long weekends.
We squeezed in a night under the stars, worked in the garden, went to the county fair and accomplished many other tasks including unexpected glitches like repair the broken dryer, ugh.
The fair was definitely the highlight.
