Please note that there are TWO spoons, not just one. I have had help in the consumption of these treats. Something about my pregnancies has altered my cravings from salty and fatty to the need for sweets.

Preparations
We have been sorting through baby clothes and rearranging rooms getting ready for baby's arrive. Bejos boy has been ever so helpful.
He is however very excited about his sister's arrival. That is not a declaration of this baby's gender, that is just the insistence of an almost 3 year old that he is having a sister. As sister named Sophia to be exact. Although lately he has taken to calling her Ava because of a book we have been reading about bringing home a new baby.
He hugs and kisses my growing belly and often runs to the back of the house to get his flashlight so that he can look at her through my bellybutton. Seriously, it is too cute.

off my needles
It seems so small right this moment but I have a feeling that once baby arrives it will swallow him or her. I forget just how small newborns are.
The pattern is from here, although you may have to be a raverly.com member to view it. I added a little detail on the back, just because.

Happy Spring!
Spring Break around these parts and bejos boy and I are taking advantage of our last few weeks as a duo. It has been fun with a new activity each day.
We've been to the airport to watch planes land and take off, we went to mama's doctor appointment, the library, hiking, and to the park. For some strange reason I haven't documented any of these outings with my camera...so unlike me!
Today is his day at the sitter's so that this mama can get her toenails ready for delivery and work on preparing her classroom for maternity leave. I think bejos boy has the better end of the deal today.

The Name Game
Selection Sunday. That's the talk around my house today.
After the announcement of the NCAA bracket and the careful completion of your own road to the Final Four there is nothing to do but watch game after game after game. How very last year.
Today I offer you a March Madness alternative.
Much to the chagrin of a number of people, we do not know if this babe I am incubating is a girl or a boy. We do know that he or she is due within the next 3 weeks with the official due date of April 5th.
The problem is that we do not have a boy name picked out. At least we do not have a boy name that we both agree upon like we did with the original bejos boy.
Girl names - all set.
So...this is where you come in! Does this belly scream boy to you?
For the reasonable cost of $100 a date you can choose any date from now through April 12th which will buy you naming rights if baby baby #2 is a BOY.
That's right just $100!*
The only dates which are currently booked are:
March 17th.....Shannon (mr. bejos' choice)
March 31st.....Jesus (OBVIOUS!)
April 1st.........Reindeer (bejos boy's choice)
Are you in?
Disclaimer
*Rules and regulations subject to change at anytime. Winner must fund baby boy's college education and be willing to take on guardianship at any time in which birth parents need a vacation or a short reprieve from the life of two boys.

March in Arizona
We always have one good snow blast in early March and this year was no exception. Last weekend we had thick, wet, NY style snow flying Friday through late Saturday.
No snow day, and a sloppy drive home, but a good last hurrah.
We took to the woods to take advantage of the perfect snow-packing snowfall.
