Merry Christmas

Sledding

Our neighbor friend has invited us year after year to her holiday candy making event. For one reason or another we never made it out to the candy factory in the woods. This year, however, we made it happen. 

Oh boy did these boys enjoy this sweet outing where they rolled their very own lollipops. 

We're on vacation, we're on vacation....

Holiday break has officially begun, and I am not the only one singing for joy. 

No big plans, which is exactly how we like to roll these days. Perhaps some sledding, some baking, some nighttime light gazing, but definitely some merry making. 

Christmas Tree Hunting 2015

Early December brought us back out into the woods to find the perfect Christmas tree. Accompanied by our friends the tradition lives on. And the youngest is now donning the little red vest that I will someday have a very hard time letting go of.

He loves cuties.
Let me clarify...he loves peeling cuties.

He won't actually eat it but, bliss beyond bliss, he will sit still, completely engaged, for a good 5 minutes or more.

This little light of mine

The biggest boy made this candle at a festival recently, and we just got around to lighting it.  Mostly the delay came from a lack of a proper sized candle holder, thus the playdough.
