Super Moon

We broke from our regular routine this evening to travel to a field for the viewing of the super moon and lunar eclipse. 

We layed out a blanket, stayed up past bedtime, and howled at the moon.

Finding myself in a new place

Today I stand with both feet firmly planted on this side of 40. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it yet, but I'm not unhappy from where I stand. Although there are things I can (and do) complain about, I am living a very good life. 

Dirt

Sometimes I have to step back and just let them enjoy the dirt. We watched from a distance and saw the hands grow darker and darker....oh the fun they had . 

Fair

I only experienced the fair with my school this year (as I am gone this Labor Day weekend- more on that later). But it was a good time nonetheless. Pigs, rabbits and produce, no rides or fair food.

Yes you read that right. His team name is Gold, Medal, Treasure Lions.

Dungeons and Dragons (for sports fans)

Our brief reprieve from sports is coming to an end. The eldest Bejos boy began fall soccer 

and the other eldest Bejos boy (tehehe) did the first of his fantasy drafts.

You'd think he was trading stocks or consulting with world leaders with his iPad and laptop setup.
