The big news is that the youngest Bejos boy decided, in his fourth year of life, to sit and receive his haircut like a big boy.
No tears.
All smiles.

Spring Camping

The tent came out a whole lot earlier this year than others.
It was a warm, nearly hot, spring day.

The fishing was not lucrative but the boys were exhausted at day's end.

Superlatives

On a recent hike this jabber jaw was filled with superlatives. 

I am the fastest hiker. 

This is the biggest rock. 

I am the strongest person. 

I can carry this rock all day long. 

It is not too heavy.

I bet we will see the fastest animal in the world on this hike. 

...to which the reasonable older brother replies "The fastest animal in the world lives on the grasslands of Africa. We are certainly not going to see a cheetah on this hike"

And then we continued our rockhounding hobby with a stop at Obsidian Tank.
