Berry season

Summer weather  in our neck of the woods goes one of two ways. Hot or rainy. We knew that the forecast was working in our favor this weekend, and a trip to the creek was in order. It didn't make it into our adventures earlier this summer so we have been looking forward to one of our favorite spots. Water dragon leaves, rolling logs, and mud.

And then of course there are the wild berry bushes.
Mr Bejos dives in, without hesitation - as his arms will show.
Isn't that the cutest little bucket ever 😉

School 2017

The first days of school have come and gone.
A second grader and a 4 year old this year.
Just how did that happen?

We are now knee deep into the fall routine, which includes soccer.
After a couple of missed seasons (hello broken arms) we are back into it.

Summer Recap: Vermont

An afternoon in Vermont brought the boys on their first ferry ride, reunited us with some friends, and allowed Mr. Bejos a visit to Nectar's. While Nectar's was closed, and our schedule did not allow us a proper visit, we did get am impromptu tour from a friendly bartend who recognized a true Phish fan.

the garden

The garden has not fared all that well yet this year, although we do hold out a little hope for the growing squash bed. Last night, however, we feasted on these.

Summer Recap: generations

Our arrival in NY, after a brief and unplanned night in a Philadelphia hotel, was marked with a family gathering. So many of my cousins, and so many of our offspring, all in one place.
