and once the snow melts...

The snow has long ago melted away and we find ourselves out and about in the unseasonably warm winter air. This particular trip took us to some old caves and a site littered with pottery. 

The afternoon wrapped up with a local brew and the boys' favorite pastime these days. Cards. Uno or war, whatever set of cards we have on hand will keep these two entertained. It's a change in dynamics for us, all four of us able to play a real game together.

We had winter a few weeks ago. And it lasted exactly one hot moment.
The new sleds made their debut and we milked every second of it.

Another year older

Mr. Bejos celebrated a birthday last week nearly a month ago (I know, I know), and it was a fun one. Sedona in the sunshine (trail testing a couple of sweet bikes), fondue and cake with friends, and another afternoon in the Sedona desert. It was a long weekend filled with points of interest for everyone, including the birthday boy.

Wrapping up 2017, part 4

The Bejos Clan hit the road to close out 2017.


Our ultimate destination, and last National Park of 2017.
Bryce Canyon National Park

Upon arriving we headed for the sunset location (along with every other tourist in the park - Ugh). It was a nice way to end a day of driving.

 The next morning we geared up for a 4 mile hike of the Queen's Garden trail, with the Navajo Loop extension through Wall Street. A.Maze.Ing. These little guys are truly some of the best travel and trail companions anyone can wish for.
