This baby blanket, as previewed
here, has been shipped off to a dear friend who is awaiting the arrival of her daughter in August. I am giddy with excitement for this little one.

here. As promised, it was relatively easy to crochet and worked up quickly unlike the crochet project I last reported in my
on my needles post. That blanket took on a very pronounced trapezoid-ial shape that I couldn't live with. I doubt it was the pattern I was following, having much more to do with the inexperienced crocheter (me!) who was working the pattern. I have since placed an order of the yarn used in this project, in orange. I will yet have myself an orange blanket!
The recipient is giddy as well! We love it and know that our little cuddly one will soon too! Tobi has cozied up the awaiting bassinet already with this woolen treasure and tucked in the stuffed animals that live there now! Thank you! I feel loved :-)
