The eldest Bejos boy and I walked the Color Vibe today.
I thought he would LOVE it, but he was a little "meh" about the whole thing.

Soccer Mom
This is typically the time of year that is sports free in our life. Besides a few NBA finals games, mr bejos takes this season off, a respite that lasts until that first kickoff of the season.
Until micro season started.
That's right, I'm now a soccer mom. Don't worry, I haven't gone out to buy a mini van, or applied vinyl decals of the bejos 4 on the car window...not yet.

product testing
The youngest Bejos boy got a pair of rain pants to match big brother. After an entire weekend of rain that has us going a bit stir crazy - hello cabin fever - we suited up and headed into the woods in search of the wettest, muddiest puddles we could find.
Mission accomplished!

Cabin Fever
Our four day weekend has been a bummer in terms of weather. While our outing to the goat farm was fun, we dodged rain showers all day.
The skies were gray all day today and rain fell from morning through the night. It felt as if we exhausted every rainy day activity from cards to Candy Lane and puzzles to forts.
Remember when I first introduced this fort to the eldest Bejos boy?

baby goats
We have a four day weekend here in our lives (can I get an Amen?!).
Friday we braved the threatening skies and headed out to spend time with baby goats.
Oh my they are cute little creatures, although a bit rambunctious.
1 month olds.
This guy, on the other hand, was enthralled with them. Picking them up, running so that they would chase him, throwing their bodies in unimaginably wild ways.

The littlest of our crew had a love/hate relationship with the goats. "baby goats" he called time and time again. But if they got too close....oh hell no. Get these things away from me. Of course I'm paraphrasing, wink, wink.

Back to school at night, night
Face washing.
This is a 5 year old lesson mama.
This one won't stay still long enough to get a clear pic, but what a difference from the last school night. He didn't take a single lesson out of the hands of another friend, he was using a lesson mat, and chose things he wanted to show us, all on his own.

My Pizza

Friends gifted us this pizza cookbook, a gift straight from Sullivan Street Bakery, which they were able to visit during a wintry visit to NYC. Hello jealous...except for the cold NYC part. I'm happy as a clam now that daily temps are in the high 60s, with forecasts of 70s.
The pizza was, by the way, quite tasty!
